How it all started...
The Lake Light Church was founded in Heber Springs in the 1950s under the name Heber Springs Church of God. Shortly after Pastor Justin and his family arrived to take over the church, they began to look into changing the name. In January 2021, we began the process of rebirthing the Heber Springs Church of God into the Lake Light Church, with a new vision for the church and the city of Heber Springs!
Expanding the vision...
In early 2023, God shared a vision with Pastor Justin to start a recovery ministry at the Lake Light Church. On April 19th, 2023, this vision was realized when we held our first-ever recovery meeting. We now host Recovery in the Light, a weekly recovery meeting following the steps and curriculum of Life Recovery, each Wednesday evening. We invite you to join us each week on Wednesday at 6:45 pm for this meeting, as well as for a free meal before the meeting at 6:00 pm!
